Half way up a narrow cobbled street, towards the top of the hill in the heritage quarter of old Ayvalik, this very special holiday home is a charming period Greek cottage, full of character and colour. The interior is authentically decorated and furnished with traditional and original accessories.
The walled and secluded back garden with outdoor dining area under a grapevine canopy, leads up to a higher garden on several levels with magnificent views over the pine forests and Ayvalik rooftops, down to the sea.

- Contact Us via "Ayvalik Holiday House" confirming your arrival and departure dates along with your contact telephone number
- We will email you your Proforma Invoice which will include payment options and all necessary information
- To secure a booking, a 50% holding deposit of the total cost is required with the balance due no later than 4 weeks prior to arrival
- A confirmation email will be sent to you upon receipt of the deposit. A further email reminder will be sent to you four weeks prior to arrival for the balance due
- If the arrival date is less than 4 weeks away from the booking, then payment is required in full.

Local otoparks (5-7 minutes walk from the house), including overnight, cost to be confirmed as and when required. The attendant is on site from early morning until 22.00 hrs but you will be given a key to access your car when the park gates are locked. Please note, We cannot accept liability for damage or unlawful entry to any vehicle belonging to the hirer at any time.
Contract of hire
The contract is between the hirer and the owner of the property, Tara Hopkins. The booking will be confirmed on receipt of the deposit of 50% of the total rental cost booked, whereby the hirer then becomes responsible for the total rental of the property for the period booked. This deposit is non refundable. Payment should be made by Bank Transfer or via PayPal. The balance must be paid four weeks prior to arrival. If the arrival date is less than 4 weeks away from the booking, then payment is required in full. If a cancellation is notified less than 4 weeks before the rental period the hirer will be liable to pay the balance due unless the period can be re-let. A cash security deposit is also required of 50.00 Euro on arrival (or the equivalent in your preferred currency). This will be repaid to your nominated bank account or Paypal within three working days of your return home, subject to no losses or breakages.
Liabilities
The use of all accommodation and amenities is entirely at the hirer's risk. Security of baggage and personal belongings is the responsibility of the hirer at all times and the proprietor can accept no liability for loss or damage to said baggage or any personal property whilst on the premises, nor for any accident, injury or death caused whilst on the property.
Hirer's Responsibilities
The hirer is responsible for the property during his stay and is expected to take all reasonable care of it. The house and all equipment, utensils etc. must be left clean and tidy at the end of the rental period. Any breakages or damage to any part of the property or any malfunction within the house must be reported immediately. Please do not replace any breakages.
HOLIDAY INSURANCE
THE HIRER IS STRONGLY ADVISED TO TAKE OUT COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE, WHICH INCLUDES CANCELLATION, PERSONAL BELONGINGS, PUBLIC LIABILITY, ETC.
